Hey All!
So I've reverted to using the literal week # as a subject title because I can't seem to get creative enough to do something else!
DTS is in full-swing and man, am I wiped! Whew! First week was Orientation to YWAM, second was Father Heart of God and this week is Hearing God's Voice. So its been hectic for sure! I haven't been home for more than an hour other than to collapse in bed for the last few days and its getting old. Yesterday was pretty much one of the worst days I've had in a very long time. What a stretching 24 hours. Yeesh! I was looking forward to lecture with the speaker since he's one of my very favorite ones and I was asked to take a staff girl to the hospital to get a screw removed from her ankle (she broke it a few months ago). She said it would be an hour-tops. So at 6-something in the morning I set out to do just that. And when I had been sitting in the hospital for 2 1/2 hours, I finally asked how long it'd be. The nurse was kind enough to tell me that once she gets out of surgery she has to stay for another 2 hours in the recovery room. My 1 hour morphed into 5 1/2. As soon as I got back to the base, I was supposed to meet a student to have a chat and after waiting for 30 minutes, I realized that she got the place wrong and I had to go pick her up. Then the vehicles got all mixed up and I had to deal with a very peeved staff member whom I had to turn around and pick up from the church ... and on and on and on. My day ended at 11-something pm. It was a miracle that I didn't start bawling and just not stop. I did have to go talk to some people and apologize for a bad attitude though. Sigh. Jesus is working on me!!
So here I am, wiped and SO thankful its FRIDAY! Although we're leaving for Byron Bay on Sunday so we can have our week of teaching on Evangelism there which will be interesting all on its own. 20+ girls and 2 bathrooms. Oh dear. I know that God is going to show up in BIG ways, I'm counting on that fact, so I'm not to worried about this week-long trip!
Thank you all for your prayers, love, encouragements and support. I seriously don't know what I would do without all of you!
Love,
Reba
